Clarence Muse was a Community Developer, Black Rights Supporter, Stage Actor, Producer, Director, Composer, Song Writer, Singer, Author, and a Pioneer African-American Movie Actor.
Clarence Muse died October 13, 1979, in Perris, California, one day before his 90th birthday and the same day that his final film was released.
At the culmination of his career, Clarence had acted in over 225 stage productions and 219 movies and had earned his star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame!
Sadly, Clarence Muse never received his Star due to a lack of funding. Today a Star costs a minimum of $75,000!

That's where the Perris Valley Historical & Museum Association steps in. PVH&MA members are taking up the reins of this cause to recreate an event in partnership with the City of Perris, called...
The Clarence Muse Art Festival
We will have a wonderful Art Festival and Silent Auction to raise the $75,000 minimum needed to finally give Clarence what he richly deserves and earned.
